LT80 Front Clutch
#1
As I was removing the front clutch off of my son's LT80 to replace the 4 lightened rollers with 4 stock rollers I ran into something that I had not seen before. After removing the nut and fixed face, I tried to pull the rest of the clutch off but had alot of resistance. It felt like something was stuck. I finally got it off and replaced the rollers. But had similar difficulty re-installing the clutch back onto the shaft. Any ideas on how to fix this problem. It used to slide on and off quite easily. I typically take the clutch off every couple of races to make sure that the rollers are okay, lubed, etc....Thanks...Racerdad

similar problem on removing clutch from my LT50. there was a small burr on the shaft, which I filed down..look at shaft closley.file or sand burr. make sure shaft hasn't mushroomed. also check inside clutch components to see if there's anything there that may be causing the bind.
good luck.
good luck.
