I play Halo with the PC.....I consider it my 'current' game of choice. Xbox, Playstation and all the similar consoles really are just kid stuff(lol, then again it is a kids game). Those games are now going online, and xbox is leading the pack, but the fact is the PC rules.
The graphics, speed, and sound of the PC will not be beat by these simple machines anytime soon. Not playing on the PC??? Like playing 'pong'. Don't know what that is? Hint: First 'tv' game ever......and yes...it was in black and white.

Honestly, I don't know because I never bothered going back to a console game in the last few years.
----------------
I do know that I have never, ever...ever...played a game on the console(xbox) that could compare with the power of the cpu. The sound on the computer is always FAR better...the graphics are LEAP YEARS AHEAD.... and the speed of 'online' play cannot be compared.
I also know that is changing, and in no time our tv will have xbox(or something) as part of the system and will also be online all the time(aka cable). I think that time is still a few years away though. Playing anything online on something other than a computer is childs play. Maybe your a child, I wouldn't know.
Times are changing..........I hope I don't miss the boat...........
