Default recomendation for carry on tool/emergency kit

whats up. what are some good things to have with you on the trail and how to attach them to your atv? i have a 2004 scrambler 4x4 stock, so no racks. i guess the main concerns are tools, spare parts, and something in case of a flat, but obviously size, amount, weight, and how to keep it on the atv are an issue. any suggestions? also, any ideas for things to make sure you have in your truck too? thanks.

I mounted a small tool box to my rack. Works good to carry some rags, water, small socket/screw driver set, plug kit, tow strap, and waterever else I may need. In the "tool box" that came on the machine I carry me chain lube. I also have tank bangs that I carry my keys, wallet, camera, snacks, more water, knife, and spare spark plugs for the dirt bikes. In your truck you will want a spare belt, tool kit, and maybe a jack incase you need to remove a tire

Here's what I did....

One nice day I got my quad out in the driveway and starting taking it apart, everything except take the wheels off and dismantle the engine....the tools I used I wrote down on a piece of paper and rounded up less expensive tools for the trail.

I found a small plastic tool box and fit everything in it and it rides in my tank bag and the tool kit that came with the quad got some pieces taken out and some put in.

For a Scrammy it only takes about 5 or 6 tools to disassemble it as far down as I'd dare to on the trail....

I now have all the tools I need to do any minor repairs I may have to do while on the trails....all my good tools and extra parts and fluids are back in the truck.

I can take all my plastic off, my front bumper/grill, belt cover, gas tank, tighten my chain, etc....minor stuff but could save a ride
