Default 200x front fork?????

Yes and No.

You could make it work, but the steering head on the frame is at an angle on the 185, that the suspension would cause your front tire to inerfere with the down frame tube....especially when turning.

What I have done in the past is take a 200X chassis, ut off the steering head with the fork still intact. Cut off the steering head of the 185 and then weld the X parts onto the 185. If you cut the X off in the right place, you can only mount it onto the 185 frame one way, which puts it back to stock 200X fork rake specs. It's not as hard as it may sound.

One thing though. When I done this, the machine felt quirky from being so low in the backend. What I done was essentially build a lift kit. I made plates to adapt the axle carrier to the frame in the stock locations. It didn't interfere with the brake cables working right, but I did have to put a chain roller underneath the chain about a foot behind the front sprocket to keep the chain from rubbing the frame when it got slightly loose.

Simple swap... Just use 185 center stem on 200x triple tree.
