i am 15 and weigh around 130 lbs and have rode atv's since I could walk, I am looking to purchase one of these 3 atv's. I will be doing mostly trail riding but i might ride some track and will be doing alot of dragging, which will be the best for me?

 

The Raptor and Z are both good on the trails. Don't know about a YFZ though...and with a lot of dragging...I'd say go ahead with a raptor

 

Go ahead with the Raptor, I'd agree with that. The Raptor will fit about any size so when you grow you'll still fit.

 

the yfz is fastest out of the box. raptor has the most potential. raptor and z are more geared for trail riding. z and yfz much better on the mx track.

 

I am the owner of a z400, and I have ridden both a raptor and a yfz. Yes the z and the raptor are good for trails, but the yfz is a really good quad that can be ridden all over. you seem like an experienced rider so you should be able to handle the 450. The raptor is good, but I feel that the yfz excels better overall in dragging, trail riding, duning, and mxing. It is just a great overall quad, but then again, all three are and I am sure you will be happy with whatever you pick

 

Dont know about the YFZ for the trails, but for your size you will be able to drag with raptors and DS650 and stay real close if not win. Plus the YFZ would be great for MX.

 

thanks for all of your replies right now im leaning toward the z400 just because i like the ergonomics of it, i would buy the yfz but it is a little to much money right now
