Looking for some help. Got my eye on a stock new 04 vinson auto 4x4 LE. Got quoted 6250 + 250 for warn 2.5 winch financed w/o tax (farm use). Is this a decent price? What is the retail on the LE vs the regular vinson autos? Can I put the winch on and a new front bumper later, or should it all be done at the same time? I ask because I wanted to order one from someone other than my dealer. I was also wondering about belts. I have always owned honda utility machines with ESP or simple manual shift auto clutch utilites. How often to you need to check the belt for wear, adjust it, and replace it? How hard is it to do these things? Thanks for the help.

 

I just bought that exact one less than a month ago for around $6750 with no winch. I have a winch on the way that I ordered off ebay. Great fourwheeler so far.

 

My step-father has an 02 Vinson. He has really close to 8000 miles. He is still on his original belt. He has not done anything as far as maintance (belt wise). He has inspected the belt on a couple of occasion just to make sure it wasn't damaged or worn out. The atv is very reliable and very user friendly to operate. he did exactly what you said you wanted to do. Get the winch first and bumper later. That is perfectly ok to do. The only complaint he has is that Suzuki or any aftermarket company hasn't come up with fender extenders yet. He upgrade the tires to ITP Mudlites and it does have alot of over spray. If would not be afraid to purchase one of these atv's. I give them 2 thumbs up.
