prairie 650 or 700 enough said

 

Depending on how much you want to spend and the trail conditions there are a lot of different choices out there. If you plan to put it through alot of mud then I would suggest 400cc and up. If the trails are pretty flat and hard most of the time the you could go down to a 300cc. If you can give us any details regarding your riding area we could suggests an atv's for that terrain.

 

All right, let's see, this is for my dad so, I think he'll like muddin' and something that won't get skunked by my Raptor, well not to bad[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img], probably in the $4000 range and around there. He will want to drive in the woods and stuff. Thanks.

 

Actually, if we saw a nice DS650 for sale cheap he might get it but he wants to know how you could like take a tent so I thought it would have to be a utility. BTW, how cheap do used Prairies cost? New to utility world. And how does that Kodiak run? Any problems? Thanks

 

How important is the ride to him? You got straight axels which would be more "sporty" but lack ground clearence in the mud and get hung up easier, then you have IRS machines with excellent ride quality and ground clearence, but feel more "tippy" at high speeds to certain individuals

 

Honda Rancher if you need a 4X4. If a small 2X4 will do, the Recon is a kick to ride!
