Default Mud Lites or Bear Claws on my 1992 TRX (Fourtrax) 300

Hi, i have a 92 TRX 300 with the stock tires which are getting worn out and suck in mud, i am looking for a tire which will perform well in mud and still be comfortable on trails/roads. i do a lot of road running and im on hard packed surfaces alot so i need one that wont wear too bad, the stock tire size is 24 9 11 in the rear and 23 8 11 in the front.dont ask why they are different cuz i dont know, i wouldnt mind getting bigger tires but i dont want to rob too much power. i also dont mind getting different front/rear tires. I was thinking about mud lites or bear claws. I like that the mudlite is light weight and that it is a good performer for the surfaces that I ride on but I have heard that it wears quickly. So if you guys could give me some insight about the tire size for more fourwheeler and which tire would be better for where I drive thank you.

I have 26" MudLites on my ForeMan but they are starting to wear pretty quick, My next tire will be 26" Kenda Bear Claws.

I would go with the Bear Claws, I ran a set on my king quad for over 900 miles and they looked like brand new and there was some pavement riding(okay quite a bit). The paddles are harder then the MudLites and will wear longer on pavement. The MudLites are great tires but they are more like a snowmachine paddle(softer and more flexible) and I think they might chunk when exposed to real hard porous surfaces for long periods of time. The price is around the same for the two tires, at least up here.

Thanks for the information on the tires. I think that I'll go with the bear claws.
