HEY GUYS whats up i need alot of help im a very smart person when it comes to fixing mainly any yr yamaha blaster but thats besides the point i just picked up a 87 250r it very poor condition for free cuz it was my uncles n well i need suttin to do after to work so i wanna fix it but no nothing of 250rs and well this bike did run last yr cuz i rode it but he did suttin to it n now it dont run compression is good but the wires were all unhooked and the plug gets no spark but it did have spark when i was messin with it but i pulled on a wire n then the spark was gone i honestly only fooled with it for like a half hour cuz i got frustrated but i just need help in how to get spark and wich wires go where there is no head light so there must be extra wires i really dont know and i am broke so have no money to buy manuel yet untill i go back to work but my plans are to have it runnin before i go back to work lol but i really need help any info on this bike would be helpful and i have read most of the forums on the lts and you ppl seem to know what your doing so im asking you guys/girls for help thanks and also what are good sites to go to for cheap parts for frames engine n body thanks again once again need help asap

why am i a lucky bastard lol well i need help with everything and anything on these bikes but for the fist part i need help getting spark brand new plug no spark wires were all disconnected and i cant figure out which wire goes were if u know of any way to help me just email me or post back on this site either one if u have a wire diagram that would be very helpful lol well what ever u can tell me about these bikes i need to know lol thanks

 

Ok, take a deep breath, add in a few periods, and trace every wire to where it goes...unwrap all the electrical tape, and just look for broken wires of the same color, splice them together, and hope for the best. The headlight should have 3 (I think) wires coming out of a big 3-prong connector, and is no biggie. You don't need that to make it run. Try a search up top to find a wiring diagram....I just got up to look at my Zilla manual but its at my friends house....Good luck....

For any parts I have found In-Land ATV to be the best for stock parts used. Their number is 909-478-7717 ask for Guy and tell him that pain in the a$$ from Albuquerque sent you.. He will hook up up. They are in cali, so if yer outside of cali it will only be 2-3 days for parts.

well guys had no luck with the bike messed with wires and everything still no spark but have another ? there is one wire that is red and yellow and i cant figure out where it connects to cuz there isnt any other wire the same color.and also could the problem be my plug cap or cilanoid or how ever u spell it let me know thanks if i cant get any spark out of im gonna dump it

 

How much ya want for that thing if you dump it??!!?
