The 250 might not be a power house it is a light quad which helps it be fast.

It should be very close. I know that the Z-250 will be faster than an Ozark, just don't know by how much. Also know that the Ozark is no match for a 4x4 Eiger, even with the extra 175lbs of ATV and a heavier rider, the Eiger has no problems running away from an Ozark.

I get up there sometimes, usually come in from the north end through Royal Blue. Haven't gotten my passes for this year yet. Our riding has changed lately - My youngest, almost 7, started trail riding last season and my middle son, (10) decided that he too was interested in riding last year. Prior to that only my oldest (12) rode with us. With two new riders and sometimes some of my son's friends coming along with us, we consider Windrock just a little too intense for their experience level. So I don't expect to hit it much this year unless we're on an adult only ride.

Windrock is as good as they say though.

I love the part about the family riding together. Thats what its all about. My son never really cared for riding til we got the cr500. then he loved it but when he started driving, the truck was the only atv he was interested in. I tryed to get him into street bikes and even bought a Zuki 550L for him to ride with me, but he never even got his temps. My wife fully supports my riding but she has no interest in doing it herself. In a way, I'm lucky that I can ride anytime I want , day or night, but it gets old by yourself (not to mention dangerous).

Yup, you can never get enough riding time. Sometimes we manage to go every second or third weekend but all too often a month or two goes by. I consider myself fortunate that not only all three of my boys like to ride but my wife rides too. I also always ride with my brother, So even though the rides are sometimes too few and far between, it's always worth it.
