need brakes for my 86 200x

Default need brakes for my 86 200x

i have a 200x ,i need rear brakes is there another bikes rear brake system that will fit on the 200x, and is any one wanting to sell a complete rear brake set up or parts for one

If you need a rear caliper, it's the same caliper that's on the early X models along with the 250X,250EX,300EX,400EX,Warrior,Banshee,Some Suzukis, and alot of other disc brake quads. The mounting points are the same as are the brakepads themselves. If you go with a Yamaha caliper, you will need Honda brake pads because the Yamahas use a thicker caliper requireing thinner pads.

If it's the mastercylinder you need, it doesn't quite interchange with everything like the caliper does. You will need to take the one you have off and match it at the scrap yard.

if you do have the rear brakes, Id try to take them in, get rebuilt. I did, and its either $500 for new calipors, or $40 to get rebuilt.
