well im looking to get a 250r and ppl r saying that if u are mostly in trails they will go threw top end more is that true?

my friend said that if i do trail riding with a 250r that i will foul more plug and go threw top end more piston ring etc. is that true

 

if you're revving it alot, much more likely you will have to change a clutch

 

no, depends on how you set up your bike. Your friend probly dosent know anything about that.

 

I have NEVER fouled a plug sence my 2-strokes have been tuned right with the right gas/oil mixture. With a good top end rebuild you wont have to replace it for a good while depending on your riding.

 

what do u mean how i set up my bike? u mean woods or mx? well im gonna set it up for mx cuz im starting to race but then i do alot of trail riding


BTW, how long until i have to puut a new top end in it every 3 months or something

 

250r is one of the most reliable engines put in an atv. but just like any 2 stroke, its quick to kill itself if the OPERATOR or ENGINE BUILDER doesnt know what hes doing.

 

it should DEF. last over 3 months!
