like most of the questions I ask here, this may be stupid. I was wondering if a 400ex rear fender would fit on a 250x. I noticed in diagrams that it looked similar. Also, this is why I asked this question: I noticed on the yamaha of troy website that the rear fender for a 300ex was $298.09 and the 400ex was $96.38. Whats up with this huge price difference????

 

The price difference is because the OEM fenders for the 400EX are american made and the 300EX in Japan.

Regarding fitment, I don't know about swapping just the rear, but do a searh on here regarding "250X with 400EX plastic" or soething similar. I haven't seen him around here in a long while, but there was a guy here named Adam that had ALL 400EX plastic and seat on his 250X. Looked great and appears to be a 400EX at first glance.

 

Hmm I could have sworn i saw Raptor plastic on a 400ex in a pic here. If a 400ex plastic would fit on a 300ex than raptor plastic should.

lol, I personally hate the look of Hondas sports quad plastics(other than the new 450R). The Raptor has a pretty cool design to it. So does that new Denali(sp?) thats coming out.
