Just heard from the district manager of the Yamaha dealer in town that
Yamaha is soon releasing a 426 Warrior based on the YZ426F motorcycle
engine. I know him and is a very reliable source. If the handling, etc. is
good I think Honda may need to improve the 400ex!!

 

If this is for real when will it be realesed and how much will it cost

 

I was told by a local dealer 2 weeks ago that the new quad will be a 400-425cc replacement for the Banshee, but that it is at least a year off. Seems they are having
extensive transmission problems trying to integrate a motorcycle transmission into one that can be successfully used in a quad, breaking gears and motor damage

 

If this is true why hasn't yamaha said nothing about ot yet. I heard they were releasing a new 400 four stroke to replace the junky banshee. But a 426 warrior I don't know about yet.

 

Your running a warrior, and you call the Banshee "junky"?
