Default Rincon warm up sounds

I have just bought a 2004 Rincon. When I start it up there is a sound that comes from the moter. As the moter gets warmer the sound gets shorter and shorter untill the sound stops. You can hear it may be ten times. It sounds like something rubbing ? It sound like a weeeeeee and then stops the next weeeee is shorter and shorter and then nothing. BUt it's not a high pitch weee it's like a low pitch sound.

Stop the engine wait ten minutes and start the engine and it does it again.

Help is this ok????????????? The noice guy hi hi

Serg, I also have some weird sounds on start up. Sometimes I have a hard knock that comes and goes deep down in the engine. Mostly what I hear is a slurping sound like the tranny pump feeding oil to the torque converter. It wil come and go for a few minutes, but after I ride a few minutes, it disappears. I think I also get some push rod noise until it warms up. A lot of little squeeky noises. Not sure what all is going on, just another good reason to have the extended warranty. If you haven't found this site for Rincon owners, drop by sometime.

It's normal. Mine does it occasionally, as well as my friends Rincon. It's just the torque converter spinning inside the cold, thick oil and when the oil warms and thins up the noise goes away. Nothing to worry about.

I don't know if it's normal, good or bad, but many, maybe most rincons I have seen come into the shop make this whirring noise you described. We have tried to fix one or two with torque converter and new front engine cover to no avail. As long as it goes away when warmed up, I guess i wouldn't worry about it.
