guys as you know i am trying to sell my ds, and get a YFZ.. i will still always ask for answers to general Q's here cause you all are my friends and by far the most knowlegeable( i think were older and wiser here in the DS forum)..... Anyway as for Texas you can claim you use your bike for farm use and not pay tax.. witch is like $550 on new quad.. ive been to about 10 dealers trying to get a good price and today for the first time a dealers said a new law is in affect where you have to present a farmer ID #, and they are activaly persuing who really uses these things for farm use... and if you cannot prove that later could be subject to $10k fine... anyone heard anything on this.. i bought my wifes quad years ago under this act, w/ not tax and have never had any problems.. advice?
