HAS ANYBODY TRIED THE RAZOR2 TIRES FROM MAXXIS. IF SO LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK. I AM TRYING TO DE-SIDE WEATHER TO GET THEM OR SOME TIP HOLESHOT XCR. BUT ITP HAS A NEW TIRE THE HD. TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK IS BETTER

 

well I'm racing the GNCC in NC and wanted the new HID ITP's. held out hoping they would be avilable. anyways they're not. so i went with Razor2's front and back on ITP Baja's. I love these F'n tires! all i can say is....you don't want to be behind someone sporting these bad dogs. i was throwing rocks the size of lemons as well as branches and anything else those things rolled over. they are evil...but they are my evil.

oh, and they handle great.

 

I switched from the stock tires on my Rap to Razr 2's and they made a WORLD of difference in handling. They make it easier to break the rear end loose in turns, and still grab like crazy on straights. For me, they saved me some $, because they got rid of most the tippiness I was getting while bicycling through berms...didn't chase the wider A-arms and new shock fix everyone else did. They have held up great after 1 full season of mx and grand prixs. Haz

 

Razr2s are awsome......they just make the world of diffrence

 

I agree, Razr2s are great! They work so well, and I am so pleased that I will not even bother trying another set of tires until a company comes out with the next revolutionary tire. That is right, the Razr2s are a revolutionary tire. There are alot of people who used to run ITPs or something else who are now using Maxxis - because they work.
