I need a winch but im not sure what to get.. Also where can i get a mounting bracket that will work?

I bought a 1500 lb superwinch for 110 bucks on sale at GI Joes. Made a bracket out of scrap steel I had laying around. works awesome. I couldn't see buying a 2500 lb winch for a 600 lb bike. I tipped over a 4-wheel drive Kabota tractor and pulled it back up useing the winch. good luck on your choice.

 

from what i hear the mounting bracket that the dealerships offer will work for both warn and ramsey. i think it isnt to expensive. i would definately not by the winch from the dealer though. big buck atv is the cheapest place i have found for the ramsey winch. rocky mountain has a tusk winch with a mount for the outlander.

 

Anyone know anything about Tusk winches? They have a great price on them so I am really tempted if they have the Outlander mounting kit.

 

I agree. With that price i think ill go with one of those.
