Good deal for a 2000 Foreman?
#1
My friend found a 2000 Honda Foreman 400 for sale, it has a little over 4,000 miles on it. I saw it and its in great shape and has been taken care of, I cant even tell thats its been flipped or anything... asking price is $2,500, I told him even tho 4,000 was a little high its still a steal and its a foreman so if its been taken care of it should run like new. what do you guys think? What should he be looking for that may make or break this quad? Thanks in advance!

Hi I have a 2000 foreman which i recently bought second hand. Mine was in very good condition with no real scratches or ware. It came with after market bumper, winch windshield and rear seat/box. I feel like I got an excellent deal at $ 5000 Canadian. You would be paying 2,500 U.S which is $ 3,343 Canadian dollars which I think would be a very good price for this wheeler. As far as what to look for. If it looks well taken care of and there is no visible damage spotted on a quick inspection you should be ok. The foreman's are a very reliable machine and are built to last this quad should serve you well

That sounds like a really good deal. I know of a 2001 foreman with only 1600 miles and it sold for $4100. I think thats a pretty good price. I wouldn't worry about the miles to much. I have a friend that bought a 2002 rancher with 7000 miles. Yup 7,000 miles and it runs like a champ. It look like hell but all of the mechanics were taken very good care of.

Thats a good price. Yeah, the miles are a little high, but as long as its been maintained and not run through the wringer, that engine should be good for a long long time. My old 300 is 15 years old, and the engine still runs like singer sewing machine. If he's taken care of it, its worth the money.
