I will be picking up my new AC 500 this Thursday, can not wait! I am selling my 1994 Hinda 300 fourtrax to my father-in-law, his first ATV. Sorry to see it go, been a great reliable machine. Also looking forward to the ground clearance, 2w-4w drive, independent suspension(front & back), liquid cooled, well, all the new technology since 1994! I would like to thank everyone on this forum, you guys/gals helped me make my decison on my next ATV. I know there are some with complaints on the AC, but after reviewing other brands, same deal, some have problems, so don't. Most don't. Talked to many farmers(which use them daily) with very few minor complaints.
I received the best deal I could find on Friday, $5825.00 out of the crate. The nearest price was $475.00 more, many others were even more. Gander Mountain quoted me a price on a 500 automatic, great price, then he started with dealer prep, don't title them here, blah, blafh blah. By the time he was done, the price was about $400.00 above what he had quoted me, not a good deal in the end.
Can anybody recommend the best place with the best prices on CAT accessories(Plow, mrp attatchments and other stuff).

Whats up. I paid 6,450 out the door with tax. My 04 500 mrp auto base price was 5,750. That was the best I found around the northern part of IL and central part. One thing be sure to check all the hose clamps near the engine for the coolant I had one that was starting to leak It just needed a few turns and that fixed that. Other than that is has been Great. Finish line power sports (www. arcticcatpowersports.com)they are in Michigan. They have some good prices on accessories. I paid $299 for a warn 2500 winch that came with the mounting plate and roller fairlead was a dealer special. Good Luck and happy wheeling.
