Hello all proud DS owners out there, I just got my first real riding day in on my new 04 DS650 and very happy with it. I have been riding quads for about 12 years now. I have always rode two strokes and it was hard to get away from them for a 4 stroke but I made the big move( keep on two stroke just to get on once in a while, can't give it all up at once). Anyway my Q's is, first gear on my Baja is very different in that when you shift down into first it does not feel like it goes in, even though it is in gear you can keep shifting it down and it never seems to hit a stop like my Suzuki quads did and also my street bike. But when you are in first gear on any other quad or street bike I have rode the shift lever might only go half way compared to when you first down shift into first. Are all DS's like this or is mine messed up. Like I said earlier in this is my first DS and I do not know much about the DS but what I have read on here and in some Mags. I hope someone can answer my Q.
