Default any feedback appreciated (breakin)

Hey guys, i just got a new atv, first time user. I was wondering about breakin and what works good. I took it out today and got it stuck in the snow (didnt mean to). She was revin mid to high in 4x4. Did i do any damage to it? Also had it about going about 30 miles. It died on me once, and seemed to be running rough. I changed from 2 wheel to 4 wheel and it also died. After that i ran it nice and slow for about 20 mins and seemed to work great. Any feedback would be appreciated, remember im a newbie.
THanks,

I don't think you could hurt it just by your description, probably just some of the newness working it way out!
them cats are pretty tuff!
as long as they have oil & coolant, their pretty indestructable!!!

I doubt you hurt it at all either, when i brouoght my 500i home, before i even had 3 miles on it(it had 2 when i left the dealer) i had it stuck in a mud hole that i didnt even know was there, the top had dried so it looked like dry ground, i was revin it pretty high to get it out. I now have 550+ miles without a single problem

When I bought my 400 the dealer told me to drive her like I was going to drive it. Lots of ups and downs in the throttle.
