Sorry about the wait i have been meaning to do an update on the page.
The bike runs great now. I had gearing problems in the begining. It had a 15 tooth sprocket on the front when i bought the bike. I wanted to use the stock chain guard so i put a 13 tooth counter sprocket on and used a stock 38 rear. I then was emailed a formula to determine sprocket sizes. I then ordered a 2 piece 34 tooth rear. This is the smallest they make. Now the bike runs close to the orginal owners setup. I am waiting for a +4 axle so for now i am running a stock 250x axle until the new one comes in the mail. The bike handles really well espically with the 250R shock tower setup. I also had problems with the throttle cable. The carb is too big for the bike setup and the gas tank crushes the cable.
I then modified the top of the cable going into the carb so this problem will not happen again.
We are talking about racing the bike in the thunder on the beach in WILDWOOD NJ on Oct 7-9.
Another thing is u can get a sunburn from the pipe. It produces so much heat. Is there anything i can do like a manifold wrap to bring the heat down. I was going to buy the heat sheild from James Lucky.
Thats it for now i will be updading the page soon and will have alot more photos of our Riding trip To Potter County Pa. we will be riding from July 28-July 31. The TC405 will have to stay home that weekend i dont want to start any forest fires.
