I know my 85 XL 250R isnt a 4 wheeler but the thing will not run and i dont know why. I did everything. New plug, gas,oil and filters. My carbs are fine and it pops. My problem is there is no compression. It has a compression release on it but when i disconnect that there still is no compression. My friend rebuilt the bottom and top end on it and said i have to adjust the timeing. Now if that is the problem how do i do that???

 

do u have a dealer near you. call him up he should explain it to you. first off valves are a must thats about all i know for this issue. i really dont have much knowledge in older atvs

 

Well its not a atv its a Dirtbike and i just needed to know before i go off wasting my money to have some guy tell me the problem.
