Default What paddles for TRX250EX?

I have a 12 year old daughter and want to buy a set of paddles for the dunes for her 250EX. The stock tires are 22-10-9.
I want to buy a set of 20-11-8 Sand Sharks(with new rims) but I am concerned the diameter being smaller will give less ground clearance than the stock 22's. I wonder why Honda put 22's on this machine stock? The fact the gearing will be reduced seems like an OK idea though. I also want a tire that is not too power robbing. The other choice is the Geko's in a 21-11-8.
What are your reccomendations or experience on a 250EX?

The little 250 does surprisingly well in the sand. I run the buffed down 6-paddle Skat-Trak Edge's, 20X11-9. Ground clearance isn't an issue in the dunes around here, so the shorter then stock tires effectively lower the grearing for more power, which is good. I personally don't like the molded sand tires, because they are heavy. That is not to say they aren't good tires, it is just that they will rob power from a machine that isn't all that powerful to begin with. Actually, the balooney stock tires aren't that bad in sand when they are aired down.

Sand robs you of power, so it doesn't hurt to hop the engine up a little, like a K&N and slip on muffler, and of course a rejet.
