Default I need some help with my LT 80

My LT 80 starter button stopped working. I called the suzuki dealer and the told me locate the starter sylinoid box thingy magiger? Its right next to the battery well I found that and he said to take a small wire and jump two of the wires together that go in to that little box well I did that and it started right up so he said to replace thet little box. so I did and it still has nothing when you push the starter button? has anyone had this problem? I took the starter button assembly apart and made sure it was clean and making contact. I dont want to take it to a dealer and have them charge me up the you know what. any help appreciated.

Do you have the parking brake on and the key turned to on?

You need to borrow an ohm meter to see if the switch's are working.
