Just a quick ? How much oil does an 01 or 02 AC500 ACT take for an oil change with a filter? Owner can't find manual and has never changed the oil [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

 

i know my friends 500 auto takes close to 3 qts with filter

my 500 man takes 4 quarts with a filter

 

Ozark38, I have a 03 AC 500 4x4 Auto with about 130 miles on it, I just changed the oil last weekend. I used 2qts and 28oz after I let it drain for about one hour and replaced the filter. That put the level at about half way up the stick. My manual said 2.6qts for the autos.
I am headed down to Phoenix tomorrow for a little fun in the sun and a little gambling for a week; I wished I were taking my ATV to ride a round in the desert for a couple days, maybe next time. Good luck, I hope that helps.
