Default ok dumb ?? how do i test for spark?

hi, i cant get my warrior started...how do i test for spark? i thought you just take out the plug, put in the wire and start it and your supposed to see spark at the end of the plug.....is this correct? if this is correct, and there is no spark, what is the likely culprit on a 98 warrior...thanks alot for everyones help...

Do all of that!!! Expect hold it near a piece of metal to see the spark...it shouldd be a nice blue spark...your frame or exhaust will work fine for holding it up against.

you unsrew the plug from the cylinder leave the wire on the top of the spark plug and just lay it against the cylinder in your view and turn over the engine and you should see a blue spark at the end of the plug, if you see a spark you have spark if you dont see a spark you dont have spark

Ok, whatcha do, is you grab a hold of the plug, still in the plug boot and press the E-start button, this is a good indicator, lofl, jk, dont do it, it will shock the pi$$ out of you, my hand was barely touching the plug when my friend kicked it and man, it was shocking. Do what they said above.

I have had almost the same experience.... where were checking a bunch of things on my friends topsportsman car thought we had a bad ignition box I was holding the coil wire next to the chassis and not paying attention when my friend did something with the 7al I couldn't let go of the wire and my arm and chest hurt for almost 3 days!
