Do K&n filters come oiled and ready for installation out of the box?

They are ready out of the box, but if you run with no lid, it's good to get the power up/cleaning kit that has the cleaner and oil to clean the filter every once in awhile.

I can't find it right now, but I have seen K&N literature that says to DOUBLE OIL FILTERS FOR OFF-ROAD! So, it is oiled once at the factory, and you need to oil it once again. And, always run an OUTERWEARS!
After I wash mine, I oil them once, let them sit overnight, then oil again and let them sit at least a couple of hours before installing. The only thing between all that dust and a ruined motor, is a little cotton gause, and that oil. Take no chances!
