I just bought a 400ex,and I am wanting to do some stuff to it. I only got about 200$ to spend on it,it's got R4 White Brothers pipe on it. Nothing special,sounds good though [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]. Anyway,what all do you think I should have done to it?

 

get a k&n and some handle bars, and u might even be able to get some nerfs

 

Congrats on the new bike I also just got a new bike but I went with the 300 EX. You will love it!

 

The tires make the bike! ITP Holeshots are my choice. I have seen people ride years on the stock tires, and others that don't get one ride out of them. Out here in the desert, stock tires are pretty useless.

 

save your money and just ride, then you'll know more what you want

ac nerfs and k&N and make sure its jetting probably. i just got my 400ex about 3 months ago and i love it and have had no probloms with it or the upgrades i got for it!

 

Sandman is right. Hang on to your scratch for a while, ride her, find out what you need for what you ride. Less chance of buying the wrong parts, or parts that woudl work better for somebody else's style.
