YFZ450, whats the best price that I should be Looking to get?

I'm looking to get a new Yamaha 2004 YFZ450 and was wondering what should i look to pay to get a new one and what are some of the prices everyone has been getting there new 450's for? Is $6500.00 spending too much or could I get a better price you think? I'm in Michigan also.

$5,999 is the lowest i have seen.

I think $5900 is the best I have seen someone say they got (probably alot of fees were tacked on though)... Mine was $6750 (got it in August of '03) But after tax I paid $7300 out the door. Just be sure you get the Out The Door price, salesmen like to hide that fact till they have you with pen in hand signing your name.
