Anybody tried them and how do they compare. Looking for something for the Predator. Are the Haulers a better way to go?

haulers are better for traction and speed. they will perform much better in a drag. The downside is that they are almost twice as much money. If you just plan on playing in the dunes, the sand stars are perfect. They are a good tire.

sand stars are very good in the dunes and the trails. Probably aren't the best for drag racing, but for the trails they are great.

Problem is I can not find the haulers to fit stock rims 20x11x10. Do they make them? Is that the 8 paddle haulers you recommend?

I have a set of 20x11x10 extremes on my raptor right now. they make pretty much any size you can imagine. Look harder.

I have the sandstars on my scrammy, and love them!! Handleing is great and they look awsome.

Like others have said though, they are not for drag racing

I've heard nothing but great things about the Sand Stars. I would like to get a set cause the haulers just want to make you go STRAIGHT. The haulers hook up like a dream but don't corner to well. I have a lot of friends that the Stars and love'em. For the price you can't go wrong.

We just got back from the dunes and bought two sets of Sand Stars. One set for my 250R and one set for a buddies Z400. They seem to hook up better than my Sand Skate II's. In the drags I was even able to run with some Hauler equipped Banshees. They are excellent tires and I highly recommend Sand Stars.
