Default 03 grizzly 660 speedometer meter

Maybe someone can help me out, bought this grizzly and the meter, display has the green backlight on but nothing else was gonna buy a new one but the other day I had it outside and the sun was shining right on the display started it to move it and the display was working rode it around speedometer hours everything was working out it back in the garage came out 5 min later and just the green backlight again. Is there anyway to take it apart already sanded all fuses and connectors and cleaned with electrical parts cleaner and dielectric grease. Thank Rob

Don't know about the Grizzly but the Suzuki 450KQ is prone to this, water somehow gets in and corrodes the circuit board, breaking one of the tracks. You can dismantle these like a computer etc, but it needs an expert to bridge the broken tracks on the board. Luckily I have a neighbour who is a retired electronics engineer and loves repairing things like this.

I actually have a degree in electronics from itt ******** institute.. I guess I'll tear into it, it looked like it was sealed somehow last I looked at it, nothing a dremel won't handle though..

The Suz dash is fairly easy to strip. Why do makers of electronic equipment use those plastic wedge clips that click together easy but are extremely difficult to get apart again?

Merrymen, I'm going to be so happy if it's just snapped together, I do agree with you though why couldn't they just put a couple screws in, as soon as I get a chance to do it I'll let you know how it went maybe with some pics. Thanks
