wheel stud problems
#2
I havent removed one myself, and i assume its pressed in. Have you got the replacement part yet? If it is a press fit, then a rubber hammer wont do it, too much cushion. Get a piece of aluminum or brass, because its softer than the stud, and put it on top of the stud, and smack it with a steel hammer, the heavier the better. The aluminum or brass protects the old stud from deforming, Itd be bad news if the stud mushroomed and was too big to come out.
The other way would be to use a press and push it out.If you dont have access to a press Napa could do it.
