I looked at tires for months before I decided to get GBC Dirtdevils. They are a 6ply,very strong, light, great all around traction tire. Very smooth and quiet but great in snow, mud and hard packed. I do al;ot of hill climbing and these tires have worked better than any other I have tried. The price of them is great also. I paid about $35 a peice off of e-bay.

i had a set of the devils on my sportsman 335 and they work great, but they seem to wear down quickly. they do have great traction. i was thinking about the mudlites, but everyone seems to say their really soft compound and will wear down fast. theres 1/16" difference in thread height.

i've seen both the mud sharks and the bear claws. they both have a good tread patten, but the ones i've seen on front tires wear really bad. the claws seem to have no traction once they wear down a little. i'm sure most tires when new are great. it's when the tread gets rounded corners i wounder about.

i would like to second the dirt devils, the other day me and my friend were riding and he has stock tires on his beartracker and we started up the creek to go up the bank onto our trail and he went first and got the front tires up and just spun, he backed down and turned around and went back out and i said im gonna go try it and he said go ahead but u wont make, so i went up to it with a bout 1/4 throttle and never gave it anymore or anyless and they chewed through and pulled my right up the hill. adn about the wear factor they wear much better than stock, i ride on an old railroad bed of all rock and i ride on the rode quite about to get places and they still look new. they work great it snow too. the only time i got stuck is when i went too slow in about 2 feet of snow other wise when u are on the gas u most likely wont get stuck. just my .02. good luck, hope u like what u get. scott
