Fired the 720 Part III.......
#1
I turned the motor over by hand carefully inspecting everything. Today I threw my orange battery in, and decided to crank her. The red light stayed on a bit. I stopped (it ran for 2-3 seconds max) and I pulled the oil filter out and bled it again. Cranked it for a bit and the red light did not go out. I started her, red light stayed on for a few seconds, and them was gone. Let it run for about 2-3 mintues. Shut her her off. I did that 2 more times until she cooled. 4th start I wicked the throttle a bit. The carb was running a little high so I lowered the idle.
SHE SOUNDS MEAN with that trinity exhaust. Gives off a loud thunderous bark.
I do have one issue. It seems to free rev. I got a throttle cable from Terry Cable and I wired it to the best of my ability. I need to play with it some more. Last thing I want is this thing to stay stuck at WOT. I finally got her done! YEEE-HA.
I want to thank everyone for helping me in the past giving me pointers and taking the time out to help me. If it wasn't for these forums I would have probably sold it off by now. I look forward to riding again (been a long time since I rode the beast, probably almost a year).
I will post a report on how it does against my Stage III buddy.
