Default wolverine neutral light switch problems

I have a 99 yamaha wolverine,,,the neutral light will not stay on when in neutral,yo can wiggle the shifter and get it to light,, but it wont stay on,,,the realy for the starter clicks, and you can pull the brake lever to start it,, but I cant get the gear lever to keep the light on,, seems the switch is too sensitive or worn to stay in the spot to keep the light on, any one had this probem,, anyone ever changed the switch, seems like it would be pain....I know its in the switch,,, the reverse light works fine, but the neutral like just flickers as you go to neutral..what gives

Maybe you need a new switch. I have a CD in the mail with parts diagrams for the Wolverine. When it arrives I'll look at it for you and reply back.

You may want to post this in the Yamaha forum

Yea,, I screwed up and posted wrong,, I have looked into a new switch and it seems to be a biotch to change out,,,,the cover aint bad, but the clutch is a bummer....I can live with it,,,but dont want to,, I think it happened when I left the key on for days in neutral,, might have been a little pull on the switch and got it hot,,,ither than that I dont have a clue
