Your jetting is too rich. First try moving the clip on the needle one clip down(just because you can do this without buying anything) to make it leaner. If it is still doing it you will most likely need to go down a size on the main jet.

If they are stock Mikuni's then yes, you will have to take the bowl off to get to the main jet, but first try adjusting the needle. Is there a particular part in the throttle that it is popping, like after you let off from 1/4 throttle, or after you let off from full throttle)??

My bud has a 95 banshee and his was doing the same thing. He tried both adjusting both carbs and it still did it. It turned out that is was some loose wiring. Just a thought that might help. Check all the wire connections first then go after the carbs.

No i didnt where do i check, like connecters, if so where at which ones. This is my 1st shee and 2 stroke not sure about them and i just got it and its been running crapy. But it pops when i let off the gas and in the carbs there are the 2 cylinder things that slide down over the needles one is longer and goes down farther than the other one.. if that matters. And if this helps the right cylinder is running great, just the left the choke side pops, right side sometimes shoots out flames..lol if that helps?... its weird

Any ideas let me kno!

Its the pilot circuit too lean. Adjust the mixture/air screw on that left carb....more rich.
