I have an 02' Grizz 660, I put the K@N filter ,160 jet, and BGpipe and it lost take off power and top speed. My buddies Grizz is stock and he gets me every time in a drag race. Took the pipe off and I stay right with him. WTF! pipe cost me $300 for go slower, any you people got the big gun pipe on your Grizz? And if so does it make your bike faster or just louder?

 

Thats pretty much all BigGun is good for...making things loud....well theres pipes suck but I heard there rev boxes were ok...i wouldnt doubt that it lost power...

 

I think you may need to play with the jetting.

 

I havent heard about the rev box. Fill me in please. Any info on how to speed up my Grizz is greatly appreciated.

 

I heard that they are no longer selling the rev box because of so many problems with them.

 

My bro in law bought a big gun slip on for his Raptor he likes it. He says it improved his throttle response.

the biggun on my pred added alot of low end... huge difference... it pulled harder all around...

 

Fellas don't forget.... we are talking about an '02 grizz not a Raptor or Predator. Can't compare performance of a Raptor or a Predator to a Grizz just cause the have the same pipe manufacturer. I agree with sixsixt maybe some jetting and tuning is needed

 

The grizzly if im not mistaken is either the same motor as a raptor of very close so pipes should be similar.
