yfz450...no kidding. at a fun ride in maplesville,al sunday, there were two yfz 450 quads that had 5th gear problems. neither locked up, but both would not shift into 5th gear. the shifter would move like it was going into 5th,you could even feel it engage, but it just roared in the engine and the quad never moved. both came from the same dealership from what i understand but about 3 months apart. one was only 2 weeks old. both of these guys were supposed to carry them bak to the dealer today. i will see both of these guys next weekend,(if they are fixed) and i will let you guys know what happened.

 

ive almost rolled mine over a few times because of the sticky shifting... go to shift down to first on a hill and i hit neutral... thats not good while your sideways on a hill... its happened 3 times already...

 

this is sickening....maybe u guys will get off with a warranty or something

 

LOL....thrust me, it's not happenning. I hope this is an isolated thing.
