Default Kodiak 450 with IRS?

I heard from a reliable source that Yamaha will be making a Kodiak 450 with IRS for next fall. What do you guys think about this idea?

Do you think it would be worth trading up for one?

Makes me pissed if it is Naw, I won't trade up quite yet, depending on future quad developments, I'll be buying a new Griz w/in the next couple years and keeping the Kodiak 450 for my little brother.

I think that that would be awesome. Basically it would be an affordable Grizzly (less power of coarse). If they would do this I would get one. Also it would be a smart move on Yamaha's part. The market is really leaning towards IRS these days. That would really smoothen out the ride quality of the Kodiak. They have my vote.

That would be cool, it would also be cool if they made it a true "450" with 450cc not the 421cc that it is now. If that's the case I would definitely think about trading up.

The only drawback i could see is that it would make the rear end squat when pulling heavy loads. I think it would be better than the outlander all around.
