winter is almost over and were out for our last ride on the sleds, i got a 93 Mach Z 780 and my buddy has a 2004 MXZ600H.O.. we stoped on a nice road were most of it is snow but on the side there is a good 1 mile sand patch. then pulls up some kid about 13 on TRX450R.he looks at our sleds and says "wanna race" then says "ya i was looking a buying a sled but quads a way faster" were about to leave when he says "I would have a bout a polaris not somthing a frog made" so right away my buddy tells him"lets race". we line up and the kid still thinks he faster. i told him to just take off when ever he feels like and well see what we can do to keep up. so he takes off and we sit there for about 6 or 7 secs and we F*cking hamer it. took us about 10 seconds to pass him and allready doing bout 90MPH. i look back at him and all i can see is ice crystals and my buddy right be hind me.

when he stops he talks to us for a few minutes(not cocky no more) and says "ya i was probly only doin bout 70mph, how fast did u get urs up too?" and when i told i got it up 120 he doesnt belive us and says how could you do that? ITS A BOMBARDIER. the guy looked away, started his bike and took off with out saying anything

one of my friends was tellin me when he still lived in wisconsin he had a buddy that had a sled that would hit 125mph,not sure what king though,i would love to have one but not enough snow in middle TN,and i would never dare race a sled on any quad.

 

when he said quads are faster we knew he was pretty stupid, winter has been good here, now is the best. its been around +10 for a bout 2 weeks so the lake is opening up. skip 300ft patches of water. its the best

 

lol, ya i raced my bros mxz 700 on my ds, i was on pavement and he was in the ditch beside me, i beat him for the first 10 feet, then he flew past me like i was tied to a tree, lol i still got the holeshot [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Even the old sleds can beat most new quads out today. They just have so much power.....my roomates dad used to have a JD liquifire that was lightly modded and you could stand the sled straight up at 60-70 mph. Man that kid has apparently never ridden on a sled or even been around one. Too bad there wasnt a Bomb quad that could have shut him up twice in one day
