Default MSR Raptor Clutch Lever on a DS

Anyone has installed one of these puppies on thier DS? I hear if you replace the stock lever you lose something with Neutral or you need to pull in the clutch to start from now on. Now that my left hand is numb from riding with 60% springs I'm trying to get my DS riding comfortable again. Thinking of putting one of these levers on. I wanted a Magura hydraulic clutch but I hear if they are set up wrong your burn through clutches like there is no tomorrow.

hey entomber, you might want to try tvi's clutch springs, i just test drove mine today and the cluch springs were not as bad as i thought they would be.Ive heard they are as good as rwr 60% springs performence wise. They seem to be a little easier on the hand.

Too late,

I ordered a set of 30% springs from RWR. I might install half and half (1/2 Near Stock 1/2 60%) with the MSR Raptor lever. I just want easy pull and not a deft hand.

How is your 720 Holding up? I got a YFZ buddy who thinks his YFZ will smoke me.

Not not yet. I had it 3/4 throttle but not all the way. I tried drag racing my Stage III buddy got him off the line but he had paddles and I had track tires (Shredders on). But I can feel more mid and more top. Bottom end seemed close to stock. Not arm ripping, but good. As soon as I get the controls going I can probably get a better feel for it. I only really rode it in sand with dirt tires so I got a lot of wheelspin. It does feel strong. I wish I had a dyno around here to check her out on.
