can i use the wireing from a 86-89 trx250 (ie, switches, cdi, wire harness, coil, the damn little metal box)
the problem with mine is my friend had it rewired to have a kill switch where the lites are, i think he made a loop circuit because if i diconnect the lite it turns off, when it did work. it stopped working when i was trying to find the ground (from a group of wires where the switches should be) and when i found it the lite turned on and shut off, bike never started again, no spark

 

Sounds like a nightmare to me.....LOL

Does your neautral light come on at all?
