i know i know there are alot of these going around but every day somthing new happens and was wondering wich one u guys like better i also have one of these in honda to get both sides of the story i just cant find out wich one i want plz help

 

yfz kicks 450r azz

 

They both have good and bad parts about themselfs like

Yfz is stilla s light as the 450r even withb the electric start
The 450 r is running a full 450 unstead of a 439
The yfz has 5 titanium valves..witch they can thank the raptor for where the 450 only has 4
450 r has a bigger gastank


The list goes on and on

 

sheesh as if you couldent get more bias then that 98 yami yz

 

Do a search please. We dont need any more arguments over this beaten to death topic.

 

i did i already did a search just from the post that i did i allready learned somthoing new i just wanted to see what other people think i under stand that there are alot of these going around about the yfz 450r i just wanted to get more info

 

I have had over 100hr on both and from what I have seen is the YFZ is the better for MX,Trail, Drag Racing, Hill shoting, Dune runing.
It has the power and speed of a Pipe and rejeted Banshee

 

I have a lot of seat time on both too. I have written 2 reviews, one in the honda forum and one in the yamaha. They are very good unbiased reviews. Look it up if you want my opinion

Lately I've tried to refrain from these types of posts. The people who say one or the other is better in all aspects are pretty much full of crap and or themselves. The YFZ and 450R are very close in a number of areas, each with it's strong points- which could be argued all day long. The differences are so minor it is hardly worth the argument. Personally, I chose the 450R for the ergos, the type of riding that I do mostly, previous quads that I've owned and my comfort level with the honda products and the honda dealer. I have as much respect for the YFZ as I do the 450R. I would be happy to own either own.

Ride them both and see what you think if you are planning to buy one. For those that want to bash on the YFZ or the 450R I have but one comment. "shut your pieholes and ride"

Dont listen to them. I know how you feel. You want to know if the new hearing from people are better. Guys leave him alone if your tired of looking at the posts then dont look at them.
