What would the cost be to have TVI build a 720 and what all does the 720 build consist of?I tried to find a website but had no luck so any information would be helpful.I will call tvi but hearing from someone who actually went through the process of having TVI do a 720 build and what the(total) cost is is what i would like to know.

According to their web page, TVI currently charges $1350 for there 720 kit with the 13.5:1 piston. This is just for parts, not labor. TVI uses the stock cylinder and bores it out, then presses in a steel sleeve. It also uses an O-ring for head seal.
Mr.HP has a new 720 kits, it is currently priced at $1550 but delivery is not till summer. Or $1999 for immediate delivery. The kit includes either a 14:1 or 11:1 piston. The major difference between the TVI and Mr. HP is that Mr. HP uses a cast cylinder that is made specifically for a 105.5mm bore. It also has a nikisil coating, just like the stock cylinder. It is also supposed to have the same amount of surface area for no sealing issues with the head gasket.
TVI product has been around for a while, and has been tested with great results. Its also cheaper and its available now! Mr.HP kits appears to be designed better, but I have not heard of anyone running it yet. With that said, my Mr.HP 720 kit is paid for and I am just waiting for delivery.

But, $1,200 would be better

mike a few things to look at
1- do you want to do the race head? that will run about 1500- 2000
2- what compression, i have the lower one.
3- do you plan a stroke in the future, which one will work best for you.
4- what carb do you want to run, at this point i don't see any clear winner, pam at powroll had some nice info on this subject, but i think the fuel injection might be the answer.
5- for comp hill i know the faster reving is going to be helpful, but i rode the stroked engine and it has some punch of the line, enough so that i wouldn't want just anybody on the machine.
6-what pipe to run.
so knowing how you like to do things i'd say you would be looking at 5000 to do what you would want, then another 3000 to finish it off, but that is just a guess from watching you do your other machines
but to get in the door with a base 720 you would be looking at about 1500, to 3000.
you know you would need a swing arm also.
when comparing, mine is running the lower compression piston, you know how it goes and the race head.,
lets meet up in a few weeks and you can try mine with the nitrous, you'll like it. that is another 800 to do it pretty nice.

I'd go with the MRHP option. Bigbaja using his new cylinder (which has Nikasil not steel) plus an intake ( I believe $150.00) and the Lectron 46 HV with any compression you want (I also believe there is no price difference there) and he is getting near 70 HP.
It will run you about 2200.00 (give or take minus shipping) but that's still cheaper than the Ron Wood Stage III which is I think if I recall correctly 4 grand and you get more rear wheel HP and torque.

Back where they are dynoing they were running 6-7hp ahead of us out here. And that was a stock bike so you renove the atmospheric diff and the 70hp is realistic!!!!!!
