Ihave 400 miles on my 00 Rancher, when should I ajust the valves? What will happen if i don't ajust them?

 

I think the initial service is after something like 20 miles. Then after that every 1000 miles according to the manual. I just did mine this weekend. Buy a service manual. It is very easy to do (I am not technically inclined with machines). The thing that takes the longest is removings body parts and such to get to them. My intake valve was in spec, but my exhaust valve was out of spec. Not sure what happens if you dont....I just follow the directions.
