Default any pictures of scrammy 400 2x4

i wanted to see if anyone had any pics of scrammy 400 4x4 that is converted to 2x2 and how they did it i hope someone has up close front end pics so i can see i already looked at ceds and it was ok but his profile really didnt tell me how to do it


can you take off the half shafts and the center chain also do you have to take off the front chain

As far as the front end goes just replace your front Spindle/Hub assembly with 2x4 units. I have seen several pair on Ebay.

I am not sure what you would do with the output shaft on the transmission??????I suppose you could leave a nub there spinning???

i have a 95 it has the three chains i think i can take the half shafts off and just leave the a arms and the tierods right or will that damage something?

That is basically what i did for a while,mine had 3 chains as well.when i was certain i wasn't going back 4x4 then i started cutting off everything that was not needed.I removed the cv shafts and just left the nuckle inside the strut housings,until i found some 2x4 strut housings.Hope this helps.

how do you just leave the nuckle do you take the pin out of the shaft

Yep,take the pin out of the top.Then you take the ball bearings out of the bottom.
