yea, when i first got my wheeles $50 was a lot. but if you play hard and are a little bit crazy, you will be makin repairs/upgrades that are way more than that. for example, my $700 rims, or my $900 fenders. my advice to you is get a job that pays really good
sadly, i think that the new key switch for $50 or so is the only way to go in this case. unless you find your key

If you lose your key here, all you hafta do is go to your polaris shop with the quad and proof that you actually own it and they will get you a new key. shouldnt cost very much. Not sure if they do that everywhere or not.

Hi when I bought my quads I filled in the Key number in the space provided in the owners manuals along with the engine serial numbers ect. This may not help you out this time but if you come up with new keys somehow writing the numbers in the owners manual may come in handy in the future.

You have a few options. Your dealer is the best option, but may take some time to have the key sent unless you have it fedexd. A lock smith could probably make a key for it if you take the tumbler to him, but could be costly. You can hot wire your own quad(Ive had to do this before--doh). Look on ebay for a new key switch to replace yours. good luck!!!
