Okay I know these are not in the same class but how much better is the Suzuki if any? I'm looking to buy in the next month or two and would like to know all your opinions/experences. Is it $500 or $600 better?

Any information would greatly be appreciated. I'm ready to get to riding!

 

I have done a lot of research on the vinson. All in all its an excellent machine with gobs of power and a great ride. Reliability has been great from the beginning and small problems have been addressed every time by zuki. I had my mind made up to purchase an 04 Vinson LE Auto but fell in love with the power of the v twin instead.

The kodiak has some good points. Diff lock definately makes a difference. There have been quite a few reliability complaints from the owners, but I have not looked into this very deeply because this machine wasnt on my buying list. Search the yamaha forum for kodiak 450 threads and you will get a better idea of what they have to offer.

 

I would say a Vinson or maby a Twin Peaks. I would take either over a Kodiak.
